I'm a college educator, author, a freelance writer, a blogger, a small-scale media consultant, a frugal Mom and a coupon diva. I like to mix it up and keep things interesting. I've dabbled in Non-Profit Management, Elderly Services, and have an extensive background in all things Social Media and Public Relations Measurement, including the use of both quantitative and qualitative metrics. Further, under the direction and as a result of working with a PR Measurement industry leader, I have spent more than half a decade providing clients with the insight and knowledge they need to not just measure the effectiveness of their communications efforts, but to help them make better, more informed decisions for their organizations. I'm interested in expanding my horizons in the PR/Communications Measurement world, looking to Better understand alternative measurement solutions. I'm available for consulting on social media, survey development through implementation and analysis as well as measurement on a smaller, more personal scale with a focus on saving start-ups and non-profits a substantial amount of their PR Budget.

Our clients have included such diverse organizations as Synergy Mutual Funds, Drive Financial Corp., Rensselaer County, New York, Showtime, and Chelli Pingree's Campaign for Senate in Maine.

Created and managed website for a gift store in Northern New Hampshire. Kaiboo boasts a "Little something for everyone" and that meant a lot of products to be photographed, inventoried, described and sold on the website! I saw each product from placement on the website through shipment to the customer followed by ensuring customer satisfaction.

I was responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all activities and programs which were offered through the Whitefield Senior Center under the direction of TriCounty CAP. I was responsible for developing, scheduling and implementing educational, social recreational, health and nutrition-related programs and activities that served senior citizens. I developed various fundraising efforts to ensure resources for Meals-on-Wheels program and senior center activities. I also attended town meetings to proactively seek funding for programs. I developed, published and distributed a monthly newsletter to clients. Recruited, trained, supervised and evaluated volunteers and paid staff. Conducted performance evaluations of paid staff. Routinely worked to ensure that the facility maintened safety standards. Visited clients in their homes to ensure safety and well-being while providing outreach and connecting to available services.
